Cartons for Christmas
Every year around the holiday time, local churches, area schools, service organizations, youth groups, business and countless individuals in Spencerport get together as a community and provide for those in need. This past holiday season, Cartons for Christmas provided food, toys and gift cards to 131 families, 520 people. Spencerport Insurance Agency's role in this project is to get community members to purchase unused toys, clothes, games, and/or gift certificates for the children in the community under 16 years of age that are in need of Christmas gifts. Sadly, the gift that is donated might be the only present a child receives at Christmas and so we try our best to ensure each child receives a gift that is brand new. We know Christmas isn’t only about receiving gifts, but this is one way we can help families feel special at Christmas and enjoy the wonder of Christmas like everybody else.
